Tenby International School’s Art & Design Exhibition a Big Hit!

Tenby International School in Setia Eco Park launched its annual International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Art & Design Final Exhibition today.

The exhibition entitled, “Our Parting Gift” showcased a collection of the Year 11 students’ artwork from their two year IGCSE course.

For this exhibition, the students explored a variety of topics such as “Decay & Growth” and “Natural & Organic” forms. Their work was assessed by visiting examiners from Cambridge on 9 and 10 June 2014.

“These students are exceptionally talented and motivated. This wonderful final exhibition is a reflection of the amount of hard work and effort that they have put into their artwork over the last two years,” said Ms Gemma Pearce, Head of Art, who has been teaching Art & Design for 11 years.

She added, “I am incredibly proud of each of them and feel very privileged to have worked with them and witnessed their exciting journeys within art. I am delighted to share their artwork with our school and the rest of the community.”

The exhibition was open to the public from 11 to 27 June 2014.
