At The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL), community is more than a word—it is a lived experience shaped by unity, diversity, and a shared sense of belonging. True to the meaning of International in its name, ISKL brings together cultures from around the world to create an environment where growth and connection thrive, especially during the annual PTA International Festival (iFest).
This beloved ISKL celebration has long honored the spirit of internationalism. It has evolved from a student-led initiative into what it represents today: a gathering of 5,000 community members from over 60 nationalities. Each individual involved in or attending this event reflects the school’s deep, committed acknowledgement of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
This year’s iFest, held on November 29, 2025, transformed ISKL’s state-of-the-art campus into a vibrant mirage of culture. Led by a team of parent volunteers, the event is designed to bring joy, connection, and shared experiences to everyone who walks through the doors of ISKL.
iFest genuinely lies at the heart of ISKL. It is an annual reminder of ISKL’s longstanding traditions that continue to be strengthened by the support of volunteers, families, faculty, staff, and, most especially, students. After more than half a century, the school continues to honor culture, recognize its diverse community, and ensure every Panther feels at home.
