It is with great pleasure that we welcome Mr Tom Keenan as the new Principal of The International School @ ParkCity (ISP), effective August 2026.
Following an extensive international search involving an outstanding field of candidates from around the world, Tom's proven leadership, deep understanding of our community and clear vision for the future distinguished him as the ideal person to lead ISP into its next chapter.
Tom's appointment also reflects one of ISP's greatest strengths: our commitment to identifying, nurturing and developing leadership talent from within our own community. By appointing a leader who truly understands and embodies the school's values, we can ensure continuity while continuing to build on the outstanding foundations that make ISP such a special place.
Having joined ISP in 2014, Tom has served the school with distinction for more than eleven years, progressing through several key leadership roles including Head of Mathematics, Head of Key Stage 4, Deputy Head of Secondary, and most recently, Head of Secondary.
Alongside his extensive leadership experience, Tom brings a strong academic and professional background, holding a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics, a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership, and several respected leadership qualifications that reflect his ongoing commitment to educational excellence and continuous professional growth.
Throughout his career, Tom has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to student wellbeing, academic excellence and the holistic development of every child. His calm, thoughtful leadership, educational expertise and genuine care for students, staff and families have earned him the respect of our entire community.
Tom has been working closely with key colleagues to prepare for taking up the role in August 2026, and we look forward with great confidence to the next chapter of ISP's journey under his leadership.
