Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (International) Enters Malaysia Book of Records for the First of Its Kind in a Polygenre Anthology on Unity

Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (International) has earned a prestigious spot in the Malaysia Book of Records for producing the "Most Number of Contributors in a Polygenre Anthology on Unity."  The remarkable literary project, a Polygenre Anthology on Unity, brings together a diverse group of over 100 contributors, including students, teachers, industries’ professionals, and national journalism laureates, all united by a common theme: unity. 

This anthology showcases a vibrant collection of literary works, from poems and short stories to essays, each offering a unique perspective on unity in today’s increasingly complex and multicultural world. The works span personal reflections, cultural observations, and aspirational narratives, creatively stitched together to reflect Malaysia’s rich diversity and shared values.

Initiated as part of the school’s annual literacy and values-based education project, it is also a reflection of the school’s commitment to holistic education, blending academic development with moral and social consciousness. The anthology is also the result of months of collaborative work, from conceptualising and writing, to editing and publication making it a meaningful journey of learning and self-expression.

The recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records was officially presented at the celebration event on unity held at the school, where students, teachers, and invited guests gathered to celebrate this milestone. The acknowledgment underscores the school’s belief in nurturing confident communicators and compassionate global citizens, individuals who not only excel academically but also use their voices to inspire change and promote unity.
