On the 7th of May 2016, Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS) two junior musicians, Tyler Chan (piano solo) and Carine Soon (vocal) took part in the AIMS Young Musician Award at The International School @ Parkcity. Both Tyler and Carine participated in the Secondary Category aged between 10 and 14. They performed tremendously well and received very good responses from the distinguished judges and audiences. Among 18 participants from all other international schools, Carine was chosen to be one of the six finalists to compete at the final round the next day. Congratulations to both of them and Mr Ronald de Leon and Mr Victor Kam for coaching the students.
