P1010340Year 7 to 9 students at The International School @ ParkCity (ISP) worked very hard over a three-month period to create a wide range of work for a Art Exhibition, which ran from 9-18 December 2013. Students were encouraged to use a broad range of medium, papers and boards when creating their work. Art pieces on display demonstrated excellent use of graphite, chalk and colour pencil, oil and soft pastel, watercolor, poster, acrylic and oil paints. Several IGCSE Art students used paper clay, fabric and other modeling materials to add semi-relief (3D) elements to their final pieces of work. The quality and quantity of the work on display at the exhibition was most impressive.

The best way to learn and grow in art is to explore and experiment with a wide range of tools, materials and processes, and this is the main focus for lessons in The International School @ ParkCity. Students in ISP work with much interest and enthusiasm during their Art lessons. They demonstrate increased confidence, creativity and greater care and control when manipulating various mediums. Skills and techniques are developing rapidly, creating a solid foundation for learning.
