Friday 2nd March 2018 was a memorable day for The International School @ ParkCity (ISP) as they hosted the most anticipated event of the year - the ISP International Day. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and showcase the 58 nationalities that in ISP.

The Day started with the Parade of Nations whereby students, parents and teachers were proud to dress in national costumes and parade under their country’s banner. A video of the Parade of Nations is available on the International School @ ParkCity YouTube channel.

No International Day would be complete without an array of delicious foods from around the world, and this year was no exception thanks to all of the parents involved in running the parent stalls. Such a variety of tantalising smells, delicious flavours and interesting artefacts for the students (and teachers) to sample and explore.

Throughout the day, the students participated in carousels of activities within year groups as well as visiting the parent stalls and participating in a World Cup Water Polo competition. A range of opportunities and activities across the whole school were due to the creativity and hard work of teachers and parents.

Impressive cultural performances also took place throughout the day, culminating in the whole school assembly, and these really showed the magic of what can happen when teachers, parents and students work closely together to produce something truly special. Overall it was another enjoyable and successful International day; we are already looking forward to the next ISP International Day in 2019.
