Marlborough College Malaysia: A Growing Education in Johor
Renowned British school, Marlborough College, is expanding its school in Iskandar, Johor, after opening in 2012.
Driven by its success so far, Marlborough College Malaysia is building a new Preparatory School building for pupils aged 9-13 years old. Located on its 90 acre campus near the Tuas crossing, the new building will include thirty classrooms, a drama hall, library, specialist learning support department, science, art and design suites, dining facilities and dedicated music rooms.
This stage of its development will also see an additional air-conditioned sports hall being built for the Preparatory School pupils and two more boarding houses.
The Preparatory School building has been designed by the noted school architect Stefan Jacobek of HOK London and will be completed for opening in September 2017.
These works will help ensure the provision of an excellent British education for even more pupils. It is on target to grow from its current number of 820 pupils to 1250 in the next five to six years.
This extra investment shows the College’s commitment to the Iskandar region and has been driven by a steady increasing demand for school places. This will allow the flourishing Preparatory School to continue to provide a top British education for its pupils in state of the art facilities, as well as provide more space for the Senior School to develop, freeing facilities for its own growing pupil population.

These new facilities will no doubt add to the terrific sporting and academic results that the Preparatory and Senior School pupils have been able to achieve since opening only four years ago.
