Marlborough College Malaysia (MCM) is excited to announce that it will be used as a training venue for several teams competing in the ICC U19 Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup in Johor this January in partnership with the Malaysian Cricket Association and Johor Cricket Council.
The College's cricket oval and sports facilities are regarded as the some of the best in the region and will serve as the practice grounds for teams from England, Ireland, Pakistan and the USA. This event presents a fantastic opportunity for pupils from the College and local schools to witness professional women's cricket up close.
Excitement is already building as MCM participated in the trophy tour during the first week of January, which gave staff and pupils the unique opportunity to have their photo taken with the trophy and experience this moment in cricketing history.
