POWIIS Primary Launch

On 7th October 2017, the new Prince of Wales Island International Primary School was officially launched. Held at the Prince of Wales Island International School, the current secondary school campus, the new school was launched by Penang's Chief Minister, YAB Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Dato' Dr. Kenny Ong, and Dato' Lim Kean Seng.

POWIIS Primary features a purpose-built campus that caters to specific year groups, and will be a co-educational independent primary school offering the English National Curriculum which will be delivered through enjoyable purposeful and challenging learning. The school design boasts well equipped classrooms, designated play areas, and specialist areas in Science, Music, the Arts, and Sport to facilitate 21st century learning. POWIIS Primary will be the perfect match for learners from Early Years to Year 6.
