Whether you're a solo performer, part of a dynamic duo or a show-stopping crew, the XCL International Dance Competition 2026 invites young dancers to take centre stage and showcase their talent in an exciting celebration of creativity, culture and performance.
Open to Primary and Secondary students from schools, dance studios and the wider community, the competition welcomes performances across a range of dance genres, from ballet, jazz and contemporary to hip-hop, K-pop, cultural and traditional dance, as well as original fusion pieces.
More than just a competition, the event brings together young performers who share a passion for dance, providing an opportunity to perform before an audience, gain valuable feedback from an esteemed panel of industry professionals, and connect with fellow dancers from across Malaysia and beyond.
Participants will also be competing for exciting prizes, with cash awards of RM1,000, RM700 and RM400 for the top three winners in each category, alongside special awards recognising Best Overall Performance, Best Interpretation and Best Ensemble Performance.

The XCL International Dance Competition 2026 will be held on 15 August 2026 at Sri KDU Schools, Kota Damansara.
