The International School @ ParkCity: Clean Sweep at the Novel Knockout
On 12 May, nine of Malaysia’s top International Schools competed for the annual ultimate reading showdown - ‘Novel Knockout’.
The International School @ ParkCity (ISP) entered two Primary teams and one in the Secondary section. These students, with a genuine love of reading, gave up much of their own time to read, re-read and read again the eight chosen books, devise their own questions, answer each other’s questions, teacher questions - generally know each text inside out!
The results were astonishing: ISP took home a First and Second place in the Primary section and a First in the Secondary section. ISP’s teams simply couldn’t have done any better. In order to achieve these results the Primary schools beat off the competition of 15 other teams and the Secondary students finished ahead of 12 other teams. Simply amazing! Well done to the fabulous ISP students!
