Over 93% of the grades awarded were at A* to C, and the College’s conviction that boarding adds value was again apparent as boarders significantly out-performed their day pupil colleagues in achieving top marks.
Alan Stevens, the Master of the College, commented, “Our warmest congratulations go to all of our pupils on their excellent performances in their IGCSE exams. Their dedication and hard work has been well-rewarded and we are all very proud of their achievements. These results are indicative of the exceptional quality of a Marlborough education, where outstanding teaching and a culture of ambitious academic study is a central part of our programme and, complemented by a wide range of co-curricular challenges, it develops well-rounded, capable, confident and happy young people. Today’s results lay an excellent foundation for our exciting MCM Sixth Form programme where we look forward to developing their potential even further.”
